Watch it!

WoW, I started this blog a couple of years ago and have yet to breathe more life into it, well it’s about that time. I sure do talk a lot and have various opinions and interests so it can’t be that hard right? The thing is, I usually only write letters/feelings/thoughts/opinions to friends and family. Knowing anyone can come here and read what I am writing is a little scary. I love to express my feelings and thoughts through wonderful, brilliant people who lived before me, and some who are still living. When I write to the public, I feel more safe using others' words and I usually can really relate and I find it awesome when I can relate to someone and apply what they were thinking and feeling in the past to thoughts, feelings and opinions I have in the present.

If you cannot be a poet, be the poem. ~David Carradine

I recently went to IZEAFest and it got me thinking about what my blog would be about if I took the time to keep it updated. There were a few thoughts that came to mind.

#1, have a group blog with my 5 best-est friends in the world so we can keep in touch since we are scattered across the East Coast.

#2 begin a diary of what I would like to share, and teach my kids. I always think about how I would share certain things, explain certain things, teach certain ways etc. I thought it would be neat to have them be able to go through a timeline of what their mother was thinking about them WAY before they were born. I have been collecting quotes for years and “lessons” and notes I definitely want to pass on, so why not do it a way they may be more susceptible to right? I mean if the internet is such a huge part of everyone’s life now, imagine when I have kids in a few years...it will be second nature.

#3 - who cares, just blog!

So, as I begin the conception of my blog, please bear with me as to where it may lead. It may take me a few months to get the feel of things and actually choose a direction and roll with it, for now, watch it slowly mold!

Time to blog - maybe when we're dead!
